Nomadia Glamping Retreat – O altfel de experiență

Azi e despre Ana, 9 Septembrie! Scriu de pe pontonul pe care este așezat cortul nostru boho chic de la Nomadia Glamping Retreat! Ne-am așezat la umbră, deși e deja Septembrie, la mare este încă vară.

EN: Today is about Ana, celebrated on the 9th of September! I’m writing from the pontoon on which our boho chic tent is placed at Nomadia Glamping Retreat! We are sitting in the shade and although it is already September, it is still summer at the seaside.

Am aflat de acest loc inedit anul trecut, de la Alina (mersi again, Alina). Se deschisese un nou loc de camping in România, primul glamping din țară –  o altfel de experiență. Am zis că trebuie să mergem, anul viitor. I-am contactat și așa a rămas, am rezervat un cort pentru un weekend.

EN: I learned about this unique place last year, from Alina (thanks again, Alina). There was a new camping site in Romania, the first glamping in the country – a different experience. I said we had to go next year. I contacted them and so was it, I booked a tent for a weekend, I booked a tent for a weekend.

Glamping-ul este varianta upgrade a camping-ului – experiența cortului cu condiții wow de la decor până la utilități.

EN: Glamorous camping, also known as glamping is the upgrade version of the traditional camping – the experience of an amazing tent from decoration to utilities. Camping is a great way of getting back to nature. For some, camping consists of pitching a tent, cooking meals over a fire, or sleeping under the stars. However, not everyone enjoys this method of camping. Glamping will allow you to enjoy the rest and relaxation of camping without having to pitch tents, set sleeping bags, or build a fire to cook (but if you want to, go for it!)

Mai avusesem noi o încercare acum 2 ani când se deschisese primul concept de glamping în România la munte, la Ursa Mică, însă cu câteva zile înainte să ajungem acolo, a avut loc o viitură, iar toată construcția a fost distrusă. Conform paginii lor de Facebook, locul este încă în construcții.

EN: We had another try two years ago when the first glamping concept was opened in Romania in the mountains at Ursa Mica, but a few days before we got there, there was a deep flood and all the construction was destroyed. According to their Facebook page, the site is still under construction.

Aveam ceva emoții întrucât eu am fost de câteva ori cu cortul doar când eram mică, pe când Mihai era obișnuit, fusese de câteva ori la munte și la Electric Castle, așa că el era mai relaxat. Nu sunt chiar a city girl, îmi plac experiențele departe de urban însă era un pic mai mult decât o experiență de rural.

EN: I was a bit nervous because I went camping a few times in my lifeand only when I was a little girl, while Mihai was more used to it, he had been a couple of timesat the mountains and at the Electric Castle music festival, so he was more relaxedthan me. I’m not exactly a city girl, I like the experiences away from the city but it was a bit more than just a rural experience.

Cum am ajuns la Nomadia Glamping Retreat?

EN: How did we get to Nomadia Glamping Retreat?

Am ajuns de vineri, drumul a fost un pic anevoios însă am ajuns cu bine. Întrucât oamenii vor să țină locul un pic mai ferit de turism comercial nu dezvăluie locația decât cu câteva zile înainte, iar clienții sunt selectați și ei într-o oarecare măsură.

EN: We arrived on Friday, it was a little hard to get there but it was fine in the end. Since the owners want to keep their place a little bit free of commercial tourism, they do not disclose the location until just a few days before and  the guests are also selected to a certain extent.

Într-o poeniță deasupra mării se află șase corturi de vis în care te poți caza, un cort de living, o terasă de relaxare la comun și un spațiu de luat masa. Fiecare cort este așezat pe un ponton de lemn, fiecare cu câte o caracteristică – un cort la umbră, un cort de unde se vede răsăritul, etc, iar distanța dintre ele este mare, ai multă intimitate. Spațiul este construit efectiv într-o poeniță păstrată sălbatică, oamenii au încercat să nu defrișeze prea mult. Spațiile sanitare sunt la comun, tot în poeniță.

EN: On top of the sea there are six dream like tents for you to sleep in, a living tent, a shared relaxation terrace and a dining area. Every tent is set on a wooden pontoon, each with a characteristic feature – a tent in the shade, a tent where the sun rises, etc. The distance between them is great, you have a lot of privacy. The place is actually built into a wildly preserved meadow. The owners have tried not to grub up the place too much. The sanitary facilities are shared, also in the meadow.

Întrucât am fost primii la cazare, ne-am putut alege cortul. În timp ce le vizitam pe toate, ne-a ieșit în cale și pet-ul casei, o broască țestoasă tare mărișoare 🙂

EN: Since we were the first to arrive at the accommodation, we got to choose our tent. While we were visiting all of them, the pet of the house, a pretty big turtle, came out to say hi:)

Am ales cel mai mic cort cu vedere la mare și cu cele mai multe surse de lumină (lumânări și beculețe). Design-ul este boho, presărat cu multe elemente vechi, toate sunt în notă de lemn, texturi și culori care îți dau o stare de bine. Nimic nu este pus la întâmplare, spațiul este gândit foarte cosy. Unde mai pui că nu există nici internet, semnal. Wilderness, indeed, ramurile salcâmilor atârnă pe cort creând niște umbre superbe!

EN: We chose the smallest tent with a beautiful sea view and with the most light sources (candles and light bulbs). The design is boho, sprinkled with many vintage elements, all of them made of wood, textures and colors that give you a sense of well-being. Nothing is random, the space is designed to be very cozy. Not to mention that there is no internet,  no signal. Wilderness, indeed! The branches were hanging over the tent, creating some gorgeous shadows while we admired the sea!

Ce am găsit prim preajma locului?

EN: What was around the place?

Am lăsat acest loc minunat pentru a descoperi împrejurimile. Așadar, am fost la o cherhana pe plaja din Tuzla, o afacere de familie foarte relaxată care gătește cu drag pește proaspăt cules din Marea Neagră în fiecare zi. Evident că locul nu este deloc pretențios, așa că nu te aștepta să găsești meniu, garnituri sau altele, nu este un restaurant obișnuit. Am mâncat cel mai bun chefal ever, foarte proaspăt, gustos, un vis. Mihai a încercat lufărul, un pește care se găsește foarte rar pe litoralul românesc insă în golful din Tuzla în acest loc l-am găsit. Ne-a plăcut așa tare la Mihaela și Țica încât am revenit și a doua zi pentru vestitele rapane – la fel, best ever. Oamenii locului sunt deosebiți, la fel și clientela lor – era o masă de actori români, joviali, care apreciază astfel de locuri.

EN: We left this wonderful place to discover the surroundings. So, we discovered a fish restaurant on the beach of Tuzla, where a very relaxed family business cooks freshly picked fish from the Black Sea every day. Obviously the place is not pretentious at all, so do not expect to find a menu, side dishes or other stuff like that, it’s not an ordinary restaurant. I ate the best grey mullet ever, very fresh, tasty, a dream. Mihai tried blue fish, a type of fish that is very rare at the Romanian seaside but we found it here in the bay of Tuzla. We liked it so much there, at Mihaela and Ţica that we came back the next day for the famous whelks – the best ever. The owners are special and so are their guests – a table of Romanian, jovial actors who appreciate such local and unknown places.

Ne-am plimbat pe plajă. Plaja din golful Tuzla este tare micuță, nisipul nu este extraordinar de fin, însă sălbăticiunea locului ne-a încântat tare. Sunt câteva cherhanale deasupra mării cu un view de-ți taie respirația. Ne-a făcut cu ochiul un alt loc fain unde am putut servi cafea la ibric – great place! Când tocmai ce spuneam că locul nu e atât de turistic, am găsit și un petic de plajă amenajat destul de drăguț – Cochilia – însă am simțit cum turismul comercial începe să își facă simțită prezența și aici…

EN: We went to the beach. The beach in Tuzla Bay is tiny, the sand is not extraordinarily fine, but the wildness of the place pleased us. There are a couple of local fish restaurants above the sea with a breathtaking view. There was also a very good place where we could serve coffee brewed using a kettle – great place! Just as I was saying that the place was not so popular among turists, I found a nicely decorated beach – Cochilia – but I felt how commercial tourism started to feel its presence here ...

Din nou la Nomadia

EN: Back again to Nomadia

În sfârșit, spre seară, am revenit la locul de vis, la Nomadia.

Beculețele care împrejmuiau cortul au început să se aprindă (pe zi s-au încălzit de la soare) și în recipientele de lumină am început să aprindem și noi lumănari.

EN: Finally, in the evening, we returned to the dream place at Nomadia.

The light bulbs surrounding the tent began to shine (the sun warmed them during the day), and in the light vessels we began to lighten new candles.

Locul a fost foarte comfortabil, am avut pături și nu am simțit frig deloc. Sunetul valurilor era amazing, însă datorită unui festival de muzică electronică din preajmă, prima noapte a devenit una albă. Septembrie e fain de venit aici, dimineața nu te dă căldura afară din cort, e un ambient tare plăcut

EN: The place was very comfortable, we had blankets and we did not feel cold at all. The sound of the waves were amazing, but „thanks” to an electronic music festival around, the first night became a white one. September is a good month to come here, it’s not too warm in the morning so it’s a pleasant ambient.

Micul dejun pregătit de oamenii locului este foarte fain – pretty bio , câte puțin din toate – salată de avocado, cu valeriană și legume, selecție de brânzeturi, omletă și alte bunătățuri. Ne-a plăcut așa de mult!

EN: The breakfast prepared by the locals was very good – pretty bio, a little bit of everything – avocado salad with valerian and vegetables, cheese selection, omelette and other goodies. We liked it so much!

La Nomadia am întânit oameni faini, alți oaspeți care apreciază acest tip de experiență de călătorie, iar in cortul destinat living-ului am ascultat muzică și am băut vin până târziu în noapte.

Deși a doua seară a plouat puțin, apa nu a pătruns în cort și nici nu s-a simțit vreun miros de mucigai – so complete experience!

EN: At Nomadia we met nice people, other guests who appreciate this type of travel experience, and in the living tent we listened to music together and drank until late into the night.

Even though it rained a little during the second evening, the water did not get into the tent and we did not feel any smell of mold. – so complete experience!

Am plecat cu vibe bun, ni s-a părut de vis experiența pentru că

• E altfel
• Ești rupt de lume – nu auzi telefonul sunând, auzi păsări, adieri de vânt, sunet de valuri
• Ai o plajă sălbatică la picioare

EN: We left the place with a good vibe, it was a great experience because:

• It’s different
• You are far way the world – you do not hear the phone ringing, you hear the birds, the wind, the sounds of waves
• You have a wild beach at your feet

Un loc magic!

EN: A magical place!

P.S –  Odată ajuns aici vei avea impresia că ai pășit în lumea de basm a lui Aladdin. Lămpi de toate formele, covoare persane, cufere, cărți, obiecte de decor vintage și paturi uriașe în care să te scufunzi…

EN: P.S – Once you get there,you have the feeling that you stepped into Aladdin’s fairy tale world. All shaped lamps, Persian carpets, chests, books, vintage decoration items and huge beds in which you can almost dive in…
